Don King vs Willie Savannah
There’s been a lot of hype going on about Juan Diaz loosing to Nate Campbell, I’m not sure if the hype is about Diaz loosing all three world title belts against a seasoned fighter or about his Manager Willie Savannah.
I personally think Diaz was distracted by all the commotion going on with Don King vs. Willie Savannah. The fact that his future rested in the hands of two men who wanted noting to do with one another was defiantly in Diaz’s mind.
Savannah release several statements on how Don King bought out Judges and the referee. “Normally they will give you a list that you can choose from and you can strike at least one, “ Savannah said. “But I didn’t know until Friday who the judge’s were- Don King was not a promoter for us any more because the contract was ending. So we knew that the judges could have been bought and paid for, and it looked like the referee definitely was bought and paid for.”
If you saw the fight you have to agree with me that it was a great fight. Nate Campbell fought aggressive and was well focus there shouldn’t be any excuses so what if Don King was happy that Juan Diaz lost.
I personally think Jesus Salcedo did a decent job referring the fight not to mention his first title fight. Instead given excuses or assuming Don King paid off the referee, maybe Savannah needs to worry about Diaz’s cut man he did a lousy job c’mon using a miniature visine bottle should I say more…
Willie Savanna is the same guy who thinks The Baby Bull is worth more than 2 Million dollars, LOL that’s why Golden Promotions only offer Diaz $200,000. Don’t get me wrong Juan Diaz is a great fighter and I respect him but when you have a manger-trainer that is not focusing on you or you’re cut man…. well.
Instead of accusing Don King lets give credit to the entire DKP team who gave HBO and Boxing Fans worldwide a great night of boxing.

I agree about the cut, he didnt receive much help there.I dont think the referee nor the judges got bought out.It just seems weird that Nate knew exactly where to hurt Juan.

Weird? Nate Campbell is a 36 year old seasoned professional that did his homework leading up to this fight and it showed. There is nothing "weird" about that. If there was any judge that got bought out it was the moron that had Juan Diaz winning that fight.
