$20.2 million in sales

There were a lot of accusations a lot of controversial about what happen on March 15, the clash between Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. But at the end both Manny and Juan Manuel are the true winners. The two-mega superstars generated a record 400,000 buys representing $20.2 million in sales. The results were the most for any pay-per-view telecast at a weight below welterweight in boxing history

The reality, $20.2 million dollars might sounds like a lot but when you have Bob Arum stating, “Pacman deserves $8-10 million for third Marquez bout” that’s insane think about it, assuming the third fight generates another breaking 20 million in sales, and assuming Manny gets 9 million, Marquez gets 3 million you think 8 million will be enough to slit between Golden Boy, Top Rank, HBO PPV, and the Casino no wonder Bob Arum also said "an immediate rematch will not be a good idea" 20 million is noting if you compare it to Oscar De La Hoya and Mayweather’s last fight, they both profit over 20 million each, I think Oscar DLH took over 27 million alone.

Do you think Manny Paquiao is worth 8-10 million per fight?
