Mayweather Jr. wins over Big Show

There were chairs, brass knuckles, yet not an illegal tactic in the bunch, as Floyd Mayweather's WrestleMania XXIV appearance ended like most of his prize fights -- with a knockout victory Sunday over Paul "Big Show" Wight.

Mayweather came back to the ring -- with Wight's assistance -- after an early onslaught, then used some help from his cornermen to get a metal folding chair (with which he landed a series of shots) and a pair of brass knuckles (which he snatched off a fallen cornerman's necklace).

He wrapped the brass knuckles around his right hand and landed one punch, prompting a 10-count victory infront of a sold out crowd of 74,635, which produced a WWE-record live gate of $5.85 million.

The match lasted 11 minutes, 44 seconds, and was highlighted by Big Show alternatively stomping on the boxer's hands, standing on his chest, and running him out of the ring when cornermen tried to hustle the boxer away.
