why PPV
Chavez (35-0-1, 28 KOs) won all five of his bouts by knockout, given boxing fans that much more to look forward to in 2008 So much for the buildup; four months into 2008 and already longing for the glory days of 2007.
Is Chavez Jr. worth being on Pay-Per-View, two weeks later, boxing fans are asked to pay $34.95 to watch Chavez Jr. against a look alike Napoleon Dynamite. By May 3, we'll have watched Cotto, Bernard Hopkins, Joe Calzaghe and Oscar de la Hoya without been afraid to open your cable bill. Top Rank is free to match up their fighter with whomever they want, but instead their asking us to pay again.
Looking back at Chavez Jr. previous fights I can’t think of one fight that I could honestly say “I got my money’s worth.” Sanchez looked like he was drunk, mumbling every time he talked, Jose Celaya looked like he forgot he had to loose to Chavez, Celaya gave up during the eight round even thought he was up in the score cards.
Chavez Jr. isn't quite yet ready for that level of competition, but he won't get any closer limiting himself to the level of competition offered thus far in 2008. This should be an easy win for Chavez. With almost 40 professional fights one will think you will be fighting against superstars.

I agree, his fights are not worth being on PPV.I'm not planning on watching his fight. They need to put him with Gomez.
