Paul Spadafora back in prison

Former world boxing champion Paul Spadafora is back in prison Tuesday night this time, for allegedly violating parole on a sentence he received for shooting his ex-girlfriend (Nadine Russo)

Police were investigating a stolen vehicle that was allegedly in Russo's possession when they found Spadafora on the scene. Russo, Spadafora's former fiancé and the mother of his child, was shot in the chest by the boxer in October 2003 for which he spent 13 months in prison. She had been granted a "protection-of-abuse order" from Spadafora, who had just resumed his career last week.

Spadafora, is at the State Correctional Institution-Albion. State parole officials say he faces a parole violation hearing on Wednesday, and they won't say what he's accused of doing until then.

If you remember, there was a time Spaddy was undefeated and considered a future pound for pound dude. Life outside the ring has not been easy and Spaddy is probably never going to regain that form he once had.
