The Don and The Scorpion

We all know that the DeLaHoya vs Forbes fight brought out plenty of celebs from the boxing and entertainment industries.  Due to Steve Forbes, it also brought out a bevy of Contender stars.  I ran into Jaidon "The Don" Codrington at the fight as he was hanging with Sakio Bika.  On November 6th of 2007, they met in the best Contender fight ever and Bika came out with a 7th round TKO victory in what was a strong fight of the year candidate.
The Don now looks to get back into the mix at Super Middleweight.  He is only 23 and sports an 18-2 record with 14 KO's.  The Don was a 2002 National Golden Gloves Middleweight Champion.  My instinct tells me he will battle for a title at some point and after seeing him fight many times, you do not want to miss him in action.  He is a very fan friendly fighter and can hit hard and be hit hard.  I believe he will tighten his defense and wreck some people in his weight class.  He is tall at 6'2" and he may even be a factor in higher divisions as time goes by.

Look for the Don back in action soon and myboxingfans wishes both Jaidon and Sakio much luck in their future bouts.
