Top Rank is hosting a press conference today featuring WBC super featherweight champion MANNY PACQUIAO, the No. 1 pound for pound most exciting fighter, and WBC lightweight champion DAVID DIAZ, the pride of Chicago, will host a news conference announcing their world title fight at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Downtown LA. Pacquiao vs. Diaz will take place Saturday, June 28, at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada. The 12-round lightweight championship bout will be produced and distributed live by HBO Pay-Per-View.
Pacquiao arrived last evening from The Philippines. He was met by his team members at LAX. David Diaz, the WBC lightweight champion, arrived from Chicago and he too will be at the press conference. Stay tune for a photo gallery of today’s event.
